About the ALL STARS Club
The aim of the new All STARS Club is to provide a wide and varied programme of After School entertainment for your children, extra curricular activities as well as offering childcare.
The Breakfast Club runs at 8-9am everyday and your child will be served breakfast (arrival before 8.15am) and taken up to school by a member of staff at 8.50am and handed over to their teacher.
The After School Club will run Monday to Thursday from 3.15pm until 6pm, and on Fridays a Cookery Club will run from 3.15pm until 5pm each week.
Every day we will aim to provide a choice of two activities between 3.15pm-4.30pm for the cost of £5 (£8 for the Cookery Club), in an attempt to cater for the differing wants and needs of children at the nursery and school. Those children not wanting to attend one of the more structured activity sessions may also choose to attend a Free Play session in the nursery where they will have a choice of playing with whatever toys and games they would like – including a brand new table football and games table (choice of 10 games), our brand new games compendium, a whole host of role play toys and they may also like to colour or make something or if they are tired and just want to relax in a safe and caring environment they can choose to read some books or watch a DVD.
For those children staying to the late session 4.30pm-6pm we will serve a light tea at 4.30pm (see sample menu). Each evening we will have a theme and activities will be focused on more down time activities but still having lots of fun with their friends. This session will be priced at £4 for advance bookings, or £5 on the day (if spaces are available).
We will operate a Traffic Light system for the clubs to advise you which clubs are least popular and therefore may be given the red light the following term if they do not become better attended, so if your child particularly enjoys a club make sure they tell their friends to try it out too! If a club is being advertised as a red light do not be surprised if it disappears next term! Please be aware most clubs will require a minimum of ten children to sign up to be able to run, and some clubs with have a maximum number of places too, so places will be allocated on first come first served basis.
We have teamed up with a number of different outside companies to bring their expertise to our new club including:
Please note: all places will require an advance booking and registration form and upfront payment in the form of a cheque or cash. Bank transfers can also be arranged if you would prefer to pay this method. Payment will be due before the start of term to secure the place. Please make cheques payable to ‘Horspath Pre-school Nursery’.
